Mediterranean Forest

A villa embraced by nature, the forest, undisturbed, is spread around the villa. Even the roof is sacrificed and allows itself to be penetrated by the trees that were there before. In return, they make it the most charmingly special area of the house. The unique architecture of the villa eliminates the boundaries between the interior and the outdoors.

The interior of the villa, which is divided into two levels and has a total of six bedrooms, is the definition of classic modern and minimalistic. The glass windows offer panoramic views from every single room in the villa. These windows, slide opened, creating the unique sensation of being outside even when you’re protected under the cool shade of the villa. Also, the interior of this totally “green” villa is made of natural materials such as stone, wood and glass, creating a cozy atmosphere you will forever want to escape in. From there you can always indulge in unobstructed views of the sea as it continues from the edge of the pool.

About Skiathos

Skiathos was the first northern Sporade to be developed, back in the mid-1960s. It’s not hard to see why, with more than fifty beaches lapped by an almost Caribbean-coloured sea, plus a lushly green backdrop inland. Its original forest, alas, has burnt frequently, but such is the humid climate and ample groundwater that replacement growth springs up quickly. A busy yacht marina and drydock are a natural outgrowth of the traditional local caique-building industry.

Boasting a beautiful- packed with pine trees- natural landscape and having over 60 stunning beaches, Skiathos  is a paradise for nature lovers. Skiathos town is the biggest and most popular settlement of the island. Its romantic waterfront is a pole of attraction for visitors, who sit at the seaside taverns to have a traditional luscious meal, before getting lost in the narrow alleys of the town.

Skiathos  sits in the northwest Aegean sea, in the heart of Sporades archipelago. Known for its amazing beaches, natural ambiance, cosmopolitan aura, and Skiathos vivid nightlife, this idyllic Aegean island ticks all the boxes.

The highlight of Skiathos island is hands down, the exotic Skiathos beaches. The best ones of its over 60 beaches in total are located on the southern part of the island. Among the most beautiful ones are Koukounaries beach, Lalaria beach, and Banana beach. The last one is particularly popular with the young crowds, thanks to the water sports facilities and legendary beach parties.

Skiathos nightlife is another reason why Skiathos island is popular! Every summer, the island is transformed into a party paradise for those who want to live their best life and party with people from all over the world. The best Skiathos bars and clubs can be found in the areas of Old Harbor and Ammoudia. But, if you want to taste the local delicacies, head to Skiathos town, where the best Skiathos restaurants are located.

Once you peel yourself away from the beaches and the clubs, you’ll discover the cultural side of Skiathos. Bourtzi, a Venetian fortress in Skiathos town, is a must-visit. Sitting on a verdant islet packed with pine trees, Bourtzi offers a breathtaking view to Skiathos town and the vast Aegean sea. Other significant sites are also the house of Alexandros Papadiamantis, the renowned Greek author, the medieval castle, as well as the monasteries of Evangelistria and Kounoupitsa.

As for the nature lovers there’s a 197 km long hiking trail network, which is the perfect way to explore the wild natural landscape of the island.
